The outdoor space is really the key to why you’ll love this place! In the backyard we have a BBQ grill, a fire pit, a large pool, a shaded picnic area, and a raised gazebo - right on charming Lake Seminole!

The gazebo offers picturesque views of the lake and the entire backyard, perfect for cool drinks and catching up - while keeping an eye on the smaller vacationers playing in the pool. Beside the gazebo there’s a lovely picnic area under the shade of a large banyan tree where you can watch the boats drift by. At the other edge, you’ll find the fire pit. Bring some firewood and s’mores to fully utilize this spot, or appreciate it as it is under the swaying palm trees.

Looking for a beach day? Just head west! We are centrally located to many beaches, including Madeira Beach and Indian Rocks Beach. We recommend starting the day at Sweet Brewnette with a delicious specialty coffee and breakfast before soaking up the sun with your toes in the sand. Later, you can head to Caddy’s or John’s Pass for that quintessential Florida vacation vibe. John’s Pass offers a wide variety of excursions such as dolphin tours and jet ski rentals!

Looking for something more off-the-beaten path? We highly recommend a guided kayak tour of Shell Key. This was awarded one of TripAdvisor's 2022 Best of the Best experiences IN. THE. WORLD. We personally loved Capt Yak (.net!) – they can even arrange private or sunset tours!

Guest Access

Check-in after 4:00 PM

Checkout before 11:00 AM

To ensure top-notch hospitality and quality cleanliness throughout the property, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. However, please reach out in advance and we will check availability.

You will have unrestricted 24-hour access to the entire property (excluding locked storage areas).

Guests will receive a unique PIN, which activates from arrival through departure date. You have the option to have 1 PIN work on the whole estate, or have a unique PIN for each of the 4 suites–please let us know your group’s preference.

Parking

We offer on-site parking for 5 vehicles in our front driveway and back parking lot. Please let us know if you have additional needs (additional vehicles, boats, etc) and we can discuss solutions.

Pool Heating*

Make your stay even more enjoyable with our optional pool heating service. Whether you're visiting during the cooler months or simply prefer a warmer swim, our pool heating service ensures that the water is kept at a comfortable temperature, allowing you to take full advantage of our pool year-round.

Smoke-Free Home

The Lakeside Retreat is 100% smoke-free inside of the home. Smoking is allowed outside and on the back patios.

Security & Technology

Surveillance or recording devices on property - Video recording devices only monitor the exterior of the home and not any of the interior or swimming areas.

We use a noise monitoring device; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels).

We have a security authorization in our guest portal that does not charge unless there are damages or violations. We are a team who manages our listings with API-connected software, and therefore can set this authorization in compliance with AirBnB.

Optional amenities and add-ons are charged at additional fee in our API-connected software.
